ASDS Cutting Edge Research Grant Program
Supported by generous contributions to the ASDS Dermasurgery Advancement Fund by our members and industry partners, the Cutting Edge Research Grant (CERG) program has been a resounding success for our society and members for the past ten years. Initially viewed as a mechanism of support for investigator-initiated research projects pertinent to dermatologic surgery, the program has recently evolved to target Board of Directors-directed areas of strategic research importance to support and strengthen the political and socioeconomic interests of our members, as well as to support basic, translational and clinical research topics.  Since its inception in the year 2000, the program has awarded $853,700, including this year’s grant distributions, for the support of basic, translational and clinical research.
