Host a skin cancer screening in your district

Promote skin cancer awareness and host a free skin cancer screening during events in your district. ASDSA can help you locate a dermatologic surgeon in your area to encourage skin cancer education and prevention. Through a partnership with Choose Skin Health by Neutrogena, ASDSA is able to provide these screenings free of charge—no insurance is needed and all members of the public are welcome.

Prevention and early detection is key to ending the skin cancer epidemic. ASDSA volunteer physicians diagnose skin cancer in one of our every ten participants and one in every five individuals will develop skin cancer during their lifetime. All who participate leave with information on sun-safe behaviors and a sunscreen sample.
