Hands-on Cadaver Lab: Facial Anatomy for Cosmetic Injections, 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. EDT

Improve your clinical and functional knowledge of facial anatomy for cosmetic injections with hands-on training by renowned experts in facial anatomy and injection techniques. Participants will be guided through clinically relevant techniques, safety and improved outcome aspects related to cosmetic facial injections. Each section of the course includes an anatomy demonstration and injection technique demonstration, followed by participant replicating injections and dissections on specimens. This workshop includes all instrumentation, PPE and cadaveric cephalus specimens. Participants should wear scrubs to this workshop. Additional fee (includes lunch) and advance registration required, limited seats.

 

Chemical Peel Workshop, 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. EDT

This exclusive interactive workshop will include high-yield, practical lectures and chairside demonstrations of multiple chemical peels. Participants will learn chemical peel formulations and techniques that maximize the efficacy and safety of superficial to deep chemical peels in a small group setting. Some hands-on practice is integrated into select demonstrations to optimize the educational experience. Additional fee (includes lunch) and advance registration required, limited seats.

Hands-on Cadaver Lab: Advanced Surgical Reconstruction, 8:30 a.m. – Noon EDT

Learn nuances about anatomy and reconstruction that you can’t find in textbooks! Participants will improve their surgical skills and knowledge of facial anatomy as renowned experts guide them through the design and execution of various advanced flaps. Some prior experience with facial reconstructive surgery is recommended for registrants. This workshop includes all instrumentation, PPE and cadaveric cephalus specimens. Participants should wear scrubs to this workshop. Additional fee and advance registration required, limited seats.

 

Live Demonstrations: Rejuvenation without Fillers or Toxins, 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. EDT

Watch and learn from experts across the country as they demonstrate rejuvenation and lifting techniques with chemical peels, PDO and PLLA thread lifts, and more. Faculty will engage in a lively discussion of the pros and cons of various treatments throughout the session.

 

Friday, Oct. 18

NEW! Hard Procedures: Live Demonstrations on Cadaveric Specimens, 9:15 – 10:30 a.m. EDT

In this session, reconstruction experts will do live demonstrations of advanced reconstruction and scar revision procedures, AKA intimidating techniques or hard procedures, on cadaveric specimens. Faculty will discuss key anatomic structures and execution steps, along with tips and pearls.

 

Patient Demonstrations: Advanced Injection Techniques On-the-Face, 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. EDT

This live interactive session will feature renowned experts demonstrating advanced injection techniques. Participants will observe how faculty use an anatomical approach to facial assessment and demonstrate diverse approaches using structural tissue layers for the precise placement of injections to improve outcomes, minimize complications and enhance natural appearing results.

Sunday, Oct. 20

Hands-on Workshop: Residents and Fellows-in-Training Surgical Skills, 8 – 10:15 a.m. EDT

This hands-on workshop is designed for early-career and resident dermatologists. Participants will gain expert-guided hands-on experience practicing excision, suturing, linear closure and flap techniques. Participants will rotate through four surgical skills stations with expert faculty at each station to provide instruction, guidance, tips and techniques to advance their surgical skill set. Patient Demonstrations: Chairside with Experts, 10:30 a.m. – Noon EDT

This unique interactive session will feature five simultaneous cosmetic injection demonstrations taking place throughout the session, with learners rotating through each chairside demonstration. Participants will observe up close how faculty approach facial assessment and demonstrate techniques that optimize aesthetic outcomes while minimizing complications. This chairside format allows participants to ask questions and receive instant feedback, maximizing the educational experience. Advance registration required, limited seats.
