Resident Scholarships

ASDS scholarships of $750 will be awarded to 233 current dermatology residents and newly graduated residents (graduation year of 2024) in an approved training program.

You will be waitlisted if you received a scholarship in a previous year. However, please don't hesitate to apply, as most applicants receive scholarships as additional funding becomes available. The scholarship is paid as a reimbursement upon attendance at the event.

Scholarship Application Process

  1. You must first register for the Annual Meeting and pay the registration fee ($339 early-bird fee) by Sept. 1, 2024.
  2. Fill out the scholarship application.
  3. Annual Meeting attendance is required. You must pick up your badge at the registration counter by 9 a.m. ET on Saturday, Oct. 19.
  4. If you receive a scholarship, you must submit a W9. Checks will be distributed at the registration desk. Details to follow.

Awards must be applied toward direct costs of attending the 2024 ASDS Annual Meeting, including registration fees, hotel, airfare and incidental costs (e.g., taxi, parking and/or meal expenses).
